Merton Williams teacher Chris Monfiletto was surprised with an Outstanding Educator Award from Get it Straight Orthodontics thanks to a nomination from one of his students.
Eighth grader Keagan Deming , who has been in Monfiletto's class the last two years said this in his nomination.
"Each day he cheers us up and is committed to helping us truly understand what we're learning. He relates past events to our everyday life, making class easy to understand. I always look forward to his class."
