Two Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES 2 Career and Technical Education students from Hilton Central School District were finalists at the SkillsUSA New York Area 1 Regional Competition held on March 5.
Hilton students earned silver medals in two different competitions, one individual and one team. Isabella Goosey (Dental Assisting - pictured below) placed second in Action Skills. Melana Tobin (Dental Assisting - far left) teamed up with three CTE peers for a second-place team win in Quiz Bowl.
In total, BOCES 2 CTE students medaled in 11 competitions, earned honors in three additional and took home a regional officer position.
The next step in SkillsUSA competitions is the New York State SkillsUSA Competition held in Syracuse at the end of April.
