The Annual Professional Performance Review (APPR) process is designed to enhance the quality of teaching and learning through ongoing dialogue and feedback between teachers and administration. It incorporates the required components from the New York State Education Department (SED) as well as district-specific elements like teacher reflection. Consistent with Education Law §30-2.3, the Hilton Central School District’s Board of Education has adopted comprehensive APPR plans for its teachers. This collaborative approach aims to support professional growth and improve educational outcomes.
