Hilton students are bused at all grades except those students in grades 7-12 who live less than 0.9 mi. from Hilton High School or 0.6 mi. from Merton Williams Middle School within the Village of Hilton.
All designated walkers have sidewalks available.

Policy on Walking to Assigned Bus Stops

All students are required to walk to and from bus stops. Secondary students are required to walk up to 800 feet to and from bus stops and elementary students are required to walk up to 100 feet.

Applications for Transportation to Childcare

The application below must be filed each year before July 1 for transportation to childcare locations other than the home. 

Applications for Private/Parochial/Charter Transportation

Requests for transportation of students with special needs to private/parochial schools must be made each year. Transportation of private and parochial school students outside the Hilton School District is provided up to a maximum of 15 miles. The application below needs to be filed with Hilton CSD Transportation Office by April 1. Transportation for students with special needs is provided up to a maximum of 50 miles from the district.

PLEASE NOTE: HCSD TRANSPORTATION DEPT. WILL NO LONGER PROVIDE STUDENT TRANSPORTATION TO FRIENDS' HOMES (BIRTHDAY PARTIES, PLAY DATES, ETC.). NO UNNECESSARY TRANSPORTATION CHANGES WILL BE ACCOMMODATED.
