NYS DMV Five-Hour Pre-Licensing Course
In order to take a road test to receive a NYS driver's license, students must have a Learner's Permit and must complete the Five-Hour Pre-Licensing Course. Upon completion, students will receive a MV-278 certificate, which is required for all first-time drivers and those with expired or revoked licenses. Students must pre-register and have a valid driver's permit in their possession while attending this course.
The course is currently being held on designated Saturdays through Zoom per New York state guidelines.
Participants will be asked to email a photo of the front of his/her permit after registering.
Registration is $50.
Mail-In Course Registration: Print out REGISTRATION FORM and mail with payment to: Hilton Community Education, 225 West Ave., Hilton, NY 14468.
Walk-in Registration: Tues., Wed. and Thurs. from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Community Education Office (address above). No phone registrations.
