Last week it was Mr. Brown getting his head shaved after students at Village Elementary raised over $2,500 in their read-a-thon. Today, Ms. Passero and Ms. Bower got pies in the face since the kids reached the $5,000 mark!

Last night, educators from 9 different districts in the area gathered at the high school for a leadership symposium. Some great thoughts from school leaders and students about building organizational culture. Special thanks to Dr. Rudd and Dr. Green for organizing this event.

Happy Staff Appreciation Week! Let's take a moment to celebrate and recognize the incredible dedication and hard work of our teachers and school staff. We appreciate all you do to educate our students & put them first every day. #CadetProud #Welcoming #Affirming

Congratulations to Nancy Leport, Rick Francis & the Hilton Alumni Assoc. for being honored as ACT for Education 2024 Community Champions for Public Education. We are so grateful for all this organization has done for our students & staff!

Night at the Village was a night of pizza, pups, pics, games, and most importantly, BOOKS! The One School, One Book launch was a chance for families to pick up this year's selection, "Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library" by Chris Grabenstein. Families will read the book together over the next few weeks. The event strives to increase parental involvement, bridge the home-school connection, and build a true community of readers.

The HCSTA Little Cadet Carnival is Thurs., 4/25 from 5-7:30 pm at Hilton High School. This year tickets are pre-sale only & can be purchased using the QR code below or at https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/81567. All proceeds go to scholarships for Hilton seniors!

It's National Assistant Principals' Week! Thank you to these dedicated individuals for their outstanding leadership, #APWeek24

Mark your calendars for an opportunity to get some tasty treats and support the Hilton Marching Band at the same time! Stop by the DQ Grill & Chill at 3644 Dewey Ave. on Wed., Mar. 27 from 4-8:30 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from your purchases will benefit our Marching Band!

Thank you to everyone who attended last night's Empty Bowls at QUEST! The soup was delicious and the student-made bowls were beautiful! Much appreciation goes to our sponsors Hilton Family Restaurant, Hilton Education Foundation, Wegmans, and Hilton CSD Food Services. All proceeds will benefit the Cadet Cupboard and Heifer International to feed the hungry both near and far.

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow, Wed., Mar. 20, is a half-day session for K-8 students. Students will be home approximately 4 hours earlier. Please be sure to have someone home for elementary students. Grades 9-12 have a full day session.

Two great art events… this Tuesday night - 3/19!
QUEST is hosting Empty Bowls from 5-7 pm. Pictured here is a sneak peek at some of the bowls you will see. The event includes a meal of soup and bread, along with a student-created bowl for a $5 donation. Proceeds benefit the Hilton Cadet Cupboard and Heifer International.
Also this Tuesday, across the street from QUEST, is the IB Visual Arts Senior Exhibition featuring the works of our senior student artists, This year’s seniors are incredibly talented, and their collective show will be in room 208 on the 2nd floor of the Hilton Community Center at 59 Henry Street. The opening reception is 6-7:30 p.m., with the show on display through Friday, Mar. 22.
