
Seems fitting that Hilton has so many Golden Apple winners! Today, Channel 8 visited Village Elementary to surprise third grade teacher Alyssa Kasper who was nominated by her co-worker, Allison Kukuvka. You can see the full story on May 6.

The Board of Education got to hear from Mr. Berry and Village Elementary band students about the opportunities to play in the bands at their school.

A great assembly today at Village-champion stunt bike rider Chris Poulos wowed them with his tricks and delivered a message about respect, hard work and being a good person. Thanks to the Hilton Alumni Association for funding this opportunity.





You've probably heard the expression a rose between two thorns-is this the opposite of that? Spikes paid a visit to Hilton today to meet his friend Crimson (and Mr. Warren) to work on promotion for HCSD Night with the Red Wings on May 16th. Stay tuned for more details!

The Hilton Central School District is pleased to announce that it is hosting a showing of the film Screenagers-Elementary School Age Edition. The showing will be held on March 19 at 6 p.m. in the QUEST Auditorium.


The Super Bowl might be this weekend, but the Super Walk was today at Village. Each grade level got a point for every lap they took around the school as part of the One Healthy Village campaign. Ms. Crane's UPK class was using it to stay active and work on counting skills!

Congratulations to Dr. Katie Jo Passero for earning her Doctorate from St. John Fisher University last week. Dr. Passero is an Assistant Principal at Village Elementary.

It was a great day to walk, and Village Elementary took advantage, holding their One Healthy Village School Wide Walk. Throughout the day classes could be seen walking through the village to help promote living balanced, and healthy lives.

What a great day for Village and Northwood sixth graders to get together for the annual track and field event.

Students from Northwood, Quest and Village had a chance to see computer programs they coded in use by the olive baboons at the Seneca Park Zoo. It's part of the Primate Portal Project along with RIT, Carnegie Mellon University and the zoo. More info on this coming soon!
