Ned Dale with bullseye

The Executive Cabinet took aim right alongside a seventh and eighth-grade physical education class this week to learn the sport of archery. The students and Superintendent Dr. Casey Kosiorek, and Assistant Superintendents Ned Dale, Adam Geist, and Kristen Paolini learned the progression for shooting: assuming the shooting position, nocking the arrow, drawing and firing when ready, then lowering the bow, and retrieving the arrow. The students did great and Mr. Dale and Mrs. Paolini even got bullseyes!

Kevin Whelehan taught the class. He is a veteran physical education teacher who is a member of the Hilton Athletic Hall of Fame, the Varsity Baseball coach, and the program assistant for the Boys Varsity Basketball program.
