The Hilton Central School District community celebrated the dedication of a new mural last week. The Hilton Alumni Association commissioned the mural to be painted through an $11,000 grant to signify pride in the community. High School art teachers Kristin Marcello, Morgan LaRocca, and Christine VerWeire completed the mural this summer in the foyer of the main entrance at the high school. The class of 2023 also contributed to funding related to the mural and plaque.
The mural is among one of the many efforts the Hilton Alumni Association supports. The association’s goal is to raise funds to support the school district as a thank you for their academic successes.
