The morning of June 22, Northwood sixth graders celebrated their accomplishments and began gearing up for seventh grade at Merton Williams Middle School. Students gathered in the Theatre wearing their class T-shirts to cheer and clap for their classmates, hear Principal Melissa Perkowski's and Superintendent Dr. Casey Kosiorek's words of encouragement, and take a virtual tour of the middle school.
"As you embark on the next days of your education entering Merton Williams Middle School, I want you to carry the spirit of personal growth and community engagement with you," said Principal Perkowski. "Continue to challenge yourself academically, seeking new knowledge and exploring your passions."
Afterwards, the graduates were welcomed outside by the entire school, parents and relatives with signs, hugs and plenty of photo ops. Congratulations, Northwood Class of 2023!
