Re-certification Process

Hilton CSD Re-certification for Interscholastic Sports

Re-certification is the process that needs to be completed before each and every sport season, fall, winter and spring. The process to re-certify athletes includes a summer sports physical either with the student's own pediatrician or with the district's school physician. School physicals are offered in August. All school athletes are required to have an approved physical. The physicals are good for one calendar year from the start of the sport season.

Interscholastic Athletic Re-certification and Physical Forms are available in the Nurse’s Office, Athletic Office or Main Office. The parent must complete the forms and both the parent and the student must sign them. Student will re-certify with the nurse within 30 days of the upcoming season. A student may not participate in any practice or game without first receiving approval from the school nurse. All students must be physically seen by the nurse to be re-certified.

Re-certification dates for the upcoming season are posted on the Athletics main webpage. For further information, please call the Athletic Office at (585)392-1000, ext. 2136.
